fathimaThe birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) is being celebrated across the world and celebrations are being held in numerous areas of Pakistan as well.

The birth anniversary has become a symbol of unity among Muslims because Sunnis also are holding

special programmes like Shia Muslims in Pakistan. Tehrik-e-Minhaj ul Quran has announced a conference on Khatoon-e-Jannat (Lady of Paradise).

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen women wing has announced Mother Day to mark the anniversary since Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) a role model for mothers and daughters alike. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari will speak at the Mother Day celebration.

The women wing of Allama Javad Naqvi’s Tehrik-e-Bedari-e-Ummat-e-Mustafa (PBUH) has announced a conference on Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS).

The women and children have held “Milad” congregations at houses and Imam Bargahs across Pakistan. The houses, mosques and Imam Bargahs were illuminated with colour lights and buntings.

In Iran, people thronged the holy shrines of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashahd, Hazrat Fatima Masoomah in Qom, Imam Ahmed bin Moosa Kazim (AS) in Shiraz, Imam Khomeini (RA) and other Imam Zadegan in Tehran, Qom, Nishapur and across Iran.

The holy shrines of infallible Imams in Najaf, Karbala, Kazemain and Samarra also witnessed celebrations as did the whole of Iraq.

Shia Muslims in Arab countries, India and in other parts of the world are celebrating the anniversary as “Mother Day” that was introduced by Iranian Shiites since the Shia Islamic Revolution in 1979.
