President Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and senior Hurriyat leader Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi while expressing tribute to Aga Syed Mehdi Almosvi Alsafvi on his death anniversary has condemned the government action for sealing Central Imambara Budgam for consecutive 17 Friday.

In a statement, paying rich tributes to the victims of Jammu massacre on their anniversary he said that more than two lakh Muslims were butchered by Hindu extremists in Jammu in November 1947.

“This Muslim massacre chapter has been written in black letters in the annals of history. The massacre of Jammu Muslims was carried out to change the demographic character of Jammu and Kashmir State,” he said.

Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi expressed concern over burning of school buildings in Kashmir. He said the successive events of burning of schools are a conspiracy of stigmatizing to the ongoing freedom movement struggle.

“School buildings are our national assets and to destroy them is to destroy Kashmir. The arson incidents will leave negative impact on current freedom struggle,” he said.
