Bahraini people have waged another anti-government demonstration to protest the killing of a young opposition activist by the ruling regime’s Saudi-backed forces.The protesters chanted anti-regime slogans during the rally in the village of Nouedrat on Saturday.
Bahrain’s Interior Ministry has threatened to take action against anyone who takes part in an anti-regime demonstration scheduled to be held on Friday. “Legal action will be taken against any participant in the rally planned by political associations, for flouting the law,”
Sheikh Ali Salman, the Sevretary-General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain called on the international community to take a step forward and put Bahrain under binding decisions and send a rights inquiry commission and compel the visits of the Special Procedures of the United Nation’s Human Rights Council.
The Bahrain Center for Human Rights has called on the United States and other Western allies of the Bahraini regime to pressure Manama into releasing all political prisoners. The human rights group said the inmates had been subjected to arbitrary arrests with political motives and held
