Tehran friday prayer leader says high turnout in elections leads to capable majlis

Tehran's interim Friday Prayer Leader, Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddighi said on Friday that strong presence of people from all walks of life at the ballot boxes in upcoming elections will lead to formation of a very capable and committed Majlis.

Addressing the worshipers in his second sermon, he said the upcoming parliamentary as well as Assembly of Experts elections are to be conducted at the most sensitive juncture providing the room for people to make decision on their fate.

'We are supporters of religion and soldiers of God who have set up an Islamic revolution and will spare no efforts to protect it,' he said.

'We are duty bound to promote justice in various parts of the world,' Hojattoleslam Seddighi said.
