Leader's message on the occasion of burial of unknown martyrs of Islamic Revolution + Pic's

Ayatollah-Syed-Ali-KhameneiThe Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has issued a statement on the occasion of burial of a number of unknown martyrs of the Sacred Defense era, emphasizing in his message that wherever the blessed and unblemished remains of the martyrs are laid to rest in eternal peace, their soothing and inspiring memories will bring blessings and spirituality to that environ, wherever they are laid to rest.

The Leader's message was read out on Monday morning at Shahid University in Tehran, on the occasion of the burial of a number of
 unknown martyrs of the Sacred Defense era, by Mohammad Mohammadian, the Head of the Leader's Representative offices in Iranian universities. The leader's message emphasizes that Shahid University itself is a learned and spiritual institution, and more blessings will come upon this institution with the burial of these blessed martyrs.

Concurrent with the martyrdom anniversary of the Sixth Imam of Shiite Muslims, Imam Jafar Sadegh,(Peace be upon him), the pure and blessed remains of 26 martyrs of Sacred Defense will be laid to rest in solemn funeral ceremonies in 16 provinces throughout the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday.

The martyrs who will be laid to rest today, were martyred in the Fajr 4, Qods 3, Beit-ol-Moghaddas, Ramadan, and Kheibar operations during eight years of Sacred Defense in the 1980s.

The Martyrs will be laid to rest today in the provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Eelam, Fars, Golestan, and Mazandaran.
