Sunni prayer leader:“Excommunication of Muslims is biggest sin.”

sunniAn Iranian Sunni prayer leader denounced Takfir (excommunication) as the biggest sin in front of God saying that division is the trick by excommunicators to block promotion of Islam in the world.

Taqrib News Agency (TNA) slammed Takfiri groups calling the group as extremists who intend to divide Muslims and prevent development of Islam and Muslim nations.

He quoted holy Sunni references and said,” According to our Sunni resources if a Muslim praises God Almighty towards Qibla (praying direction of Muslims), then he cannot excommunicate another Muslim.

He noted,” Not only Shia and Sunni clerics, but also all Muslim scholars across the world denounce Takfiri groups’ crimes because silence of Muslim communities regarding Takfiri groups is a treachery to Islam and holy Qur’an.”

The Sunni cleric hailed Shia and Sunni as two great fortresses of Islam against the enemies and demanded avoiding any disagreement by these two fortresses because that will be a great happiness for the enemies.

He called excommunication as the biggest sin in front of God Almighty and called Takfiri groups to have a second thought on their deeds.

“Takfiri groups pursue ways to discredit Islam as a baseless religion.” said the Sunni scholar assimilating excommunicating groups to the enemies of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and holy book of Islam.

Akhoondi noted that world Muslims have to spread their solidarity in order to prevent dispersion and also prevent enemies of Islam to achieve their heinous objectives.
