The representative of the Islamic Supreme Religious Authority and Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbala'i met with the United Nations representative, Nikolai Miladinov to discuss the acts of terrorism that are destroying the country day after day.

He indicated that the United Nations must document the crimes of ISIS and find solutions for the displaced citizens who have been forced out of their homes and cities.

El-Kerbala'i further states that there are international agencies providing financial and weaponry support to the terrorist group ISIS.

For this reason, El-Kerbala'i requested from the United Nations to urge the International Community to assist Iraq in its war against terrorism.

On the other hand, Miladinov states, "the United Nations faces difficulties when trying to convince the world in supporting Iraq due to the fact that Iraq is considered one of the rich countries, according to their perspective."

However, "the United Nations has consistently demanded financial support and assistance for the displaced Iraqi citizens."
