Peshmerga forces kills more than 18 ISIS terrorists in attack west of Mosul

According to a military source, the Kurdish Peshmerga forces repelled an attack by ISIS militants west of Mosul, noting that more than 18 of them were killed in the attack.

The source said, “The Kurdish Peshmerga forces repulsed today an ISIS offensive on gatherings of the Peshmerga forces in Hirdan area in Zammar district west of Mosul, sparking clashes between the two sides,” noting that, “More than 18 ISIS militants were killed during the clashes.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added that the ISIS militants used a number of suicide bombers and trapped vehicles in the attack. Two elements of the Peshmerga forces were wounded.
