An Iraqi official in the Western province of Anbar confirmed that the Iraqi Army and Hashed al-Sha'abi Shiite forces have taken control over 70 percent of Saqlawiyah in North of Fallujah, including government buildings.

The Iraqi army, Hashed al-Sha’abi forces and Saqlawiyah tribal fighters, in a joint operation against the ISIL terrorists' positions, seized control over 70% of Saqlawiyah area in Northern parts of Fallujah,” the source said.

“The troops liberated the local council building, the police station, the health center and Saqlawiyah mosque,” the source went on to say.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
