Suicide bomb martyred Iraqi Shia pilgrims in Baghdad

At least six shiite plilrims have been martyred in a suicide bomb attack on pilgrims in north-east Baghdad, police say.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent,A person detonated a suicide vest in Boub El Sham district. It was unclear if it was a male or female bomber.
The targets were Shia pilgrims who are continuing to mark the Arbaeen (Chehlum) Imam Hussain (AS), the 40 days of mourning for the martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad's grandson (pbut), Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS). At least seven other pilgrims were hurt in the attack. However,some News agencies reported that 13 people had been killed,when a infidel Salfi female suicide bomber blew herself up, killing 13 Shi'ite pilgrims in northeastern Baghdad on Monday and wounding 38 others, the office of Baghdad security spokesman said. The attack took place as thousands of Shi'ite Muslims flooded the streets at the start of an arduous trek to the southern city of Kerbala, 80 km (50 miles) southwest of Baghdad,for the religious rite of Arbain.
