Daesh takfiri terrorists suffered more losses as Iraqi military aircraft carried out two separate airstrikes against Daesh terrorist group in Syria’s eastern province of Dayr al-Zawr as the Baghdad government vowed to continue airstrikes on the positions and headquarters of the extremists in the neighboring war-battered country.
Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi says Baghdad government will send a delegation to the United States to explore avenues for an exemption from sanctions against Iran, which would allow the Arab country to keep importing Iranian gas used to feed its power stations.
Iraq is marking one year since it declared victory against the terrorist group of Daesh, which had taken over nearly one-third of the country's territory.
Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova said that they have received more than a thousand requests from the widows of Daesh takfiri terrorists, who were killed either in Iraq or Syria over the past few years, to return home in their own country.
Thousands of people have taken to the streets in the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad to express outrage over the Saudi-led aerial bombardment campaign against Yemen, which has killed thousands of innocent civilians and reduced much of the Arab country's critical infrastructure to rubble.
