Hizbullah Holds Feast for Christian Figures on Holidays

fadlalah hizbollahOn the occasion of Prophet Isa (Jesus)'s blessed birth, Hizbullah held a feast in honour of the Christian groups in Southern Lebanon.

The feast was attended by member of Loyalty to the Resistance MP Hassan Fadlallah, Maronite Pastor of Tyr Shokorallah Nabil al-Hajj, Tyr Roman Catholic Archbishop George Bakouni, Father Philip Habib, many municipality

He further emphasized, "We will remain strong to prevent ["Israel"] from attacking our country," underlining, "Stability will remain thanks to the Army, people, and resistance trilateral balance we anchored, and this coexistence between Southern citizens."
Moreover, Fadlallah indicated, "We face an overwhelming topic on the government and Lebanon which is the Syrian migrants' file," stressing, "we are dealing with this file from a humanitarian and ethical perspective because they fled from their country as a result of this crisis."

The MP added, "We all must deal with this file from this humanitarian and ethical point since it needs collaboration and effort between supporters, opposition, the government, and the civil community to return the migrants back home."
Furthermore, Fadlallah stressed, "The electoral law needs understanding and national consensus since the 60s law does not achieve partnership," indicating that, "when we demand a modern law that provides valid representation, it is not for increasing Hizbullah's parliamentary seats in the South, but because we demand an electoral law that provides true partnership for Christians in the Parliament."

The MP further mentioned, "We invited everyone to a national work group that places political differences aside and works on seeking solutions for the living crisis this government inherited from previous governments, yet this invitation was faced with irresponsible stances."

For his part, Pastor al-Hajj felicitated the audience for the holidays, and thanked Hizbullah for this good initiative it makes every year, underlining, "we are brothers and this is what this holiday is all about."

The Pastor further saw that the martyrs are the main reason behind these meetings and gatherings, and "if it weren't for them, we would not have gathered here to celebrate these occasions and we would not have enjoyed security and stability."

In this context, MP Fadlallah delivered a speech in which he considered "The resistance aims at Lebanon being quiet and stable," underscoring, "the South must remain calm and stable, and the enemy must be destabilised since it waits for us to weaken to strike."
