Nawaff 1Member of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi described the 1960s law being enforceable as heresy not based on neither legal, nor constitutional, and political grounds.

Moreover, Moussawi censured those who are undergoing electoral procedures as if it was still enforceable, describing these procedures as "legally void."
Moussawi also called on parties to ratify a law to hold elections upon since there is currently no applicable law.
On another note, the MP requested the government to hasten referring the wages series to the parliament, refusing any pretexts and excuses to postpone it.
He added, "Poor and middle classes, and labor and educational sectors cannot be held responsible for the financial stability and burdens of the economic and social crisis."

Furthermore, Moussawi hailed "the historic stance of Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour in accordance with national pillars."
"The campaigns against [Mansour] are systematic and planned, aiming at forcing Lebanon to join the front of aggression on Syria," Moussawi pointed out.
In parallel, he confirmed that "Mansour committed to the principles of national conciliation when he called on Arab parties to restore Syria from its draining war, and that the Arab stance be a factor to heal the Syrian wound."

On a different note, MP Moussawi added, "Lebanon is still subject to "Israeli" aggressions and threats, and the aerial violations that happened [recently] were not the last ones. The Lebanese authority must hold responsibility to condemn and cease these assaults."

He further underscored that the 60s law's articles are based on one time application only.
In a memorial ceremony held in Imam al-Rida Complex (PBUH), Moussawi stated, "This outdated law is a dead law and lost its constitutional validity."
