leb unLebanon's caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour strongly condemned the "Israeli" violation to Lebanon's sovereignty on Wednesday.

"The explosion reveals once again the deliberate intentions of the enemy ... [and] constitutes a blatant aggression

Mansour said Lebanon would be filing a complaint with the UN Security Council.

In other remarks to as-Safir Lebanese daily, Mansour warned that Lebanon would confront ""Israelis" bats with landmines" after four soldiers were injured following an incursion into Lebanese territories early Wednesday.
"They have their bats and we have landmines," Mansour said, and pointed out that ""If "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes that his troops are protecting the border then we also know how to do that."

Earlier, the Lebanese Army command stated that "an "Israeli" foot patrol crossed the Blue Line, 400 meters into Lebanese territory off the border town of Labbouneh."
The statement further mentioned that "during the infiltration an explosion occurred, leaving a number of troops wounded."

After midday, the LA allowed local press to examine the explosion site and take pictures.

Blood stained the area, which was around 100 meters from a surveillance tower belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

UNIFIL officials said they were informed of the incident by the Lebanese Army and were investigating the violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
"Our effort is to ascertain if any traces of a possible explosion or other activity can be identified on the ground. The area is a steep hilly terrain with thick vegetation," UNIFIL spokesman Andrea Tenenti said. He said UNIFIL had asked the Israelis to provide information for the investigation.

The Army also said Wednesday that two "Israeli" warplanes entered Lebanon's airspace and conducted aerial maneuvers over various areas. The planes entered Lebanon above Naqoura at 12:15 p.m. and left just after 2 pm above Alma Shaab.

"> against Lebanon's sovereignty and a flagrant violation of Resolution 1701," he said.
