Hezbollah-supportersLebanon's resistance movement Hezbollah has called for a massive campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian people urging all Arab states to stand by them.

In a statement on Sunday, Hezbollah urged all Arab states to stand by Palestinians in their battle against Israel.

Hundreds of Palestinian civilians have been killed due to the Israeli aggression against the impoverished territory over the past few years.

Gaza has been blockaded since June 2007, which is a situation that has caused a decline in living standards, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.

The apartheid regime of Israel denies about 1.7 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs that pay proper wages, and adequate healthcare and education.

“We must stand by the Palestinian people and provide all forms of support in their battle, in which they defend ... [us] from the Zionist danger,” the statement read.

The resistance movement further slammed the Arab world and the international community for turning a blind eye to the Israeli crimes against Palestinians in East al-Quds (Jerusalem), the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip.

The statement comes in response to the brutal killing of a Palestinian teenager at the hands of Israeli settlers earlier this week.

Initial post-mortem examination findings have showed that murdered teenager Mohammed Abu Khdeir was burned alive and hit with a blunt object on the head.

The message of support by Hezbollah also comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman have recently called for a full-scale war on the besieged Gaza Strip.

"The Zionist crimes that affect Palestinians in Jerusalem and the West Bank and the Gaza Strip ... have not stopped since the occupation of Palestine. ," the statement added.
