An Islamic State (IS) leader militant, Shadi Diab alongside a group of IS militants announced Tuesday that they no longer support IS and have left the terrorist group to join Jaysh Al Islam instead.

Diab and his colleagues said in a video posted on the website of Jaysh Al Islam terror group: “IS’ crimes, cunningness and the truth about the group have been revealed, we declare our detachment from it.”

He pointed out that ISIS has committed crimes against Muslims in Syria, Iraq and a number of countries, stressing that he and his colleagues will combat IS because what the group is doing is contrary to Islam.

The website highlighted that Diab and six people were able to flee IS’ wrath in the Syrian countryside of Qalamoun, northeast of the capital Damascus. It also revealed dozens of other IS militants are waiting for the right opportunity to escape, after they realized the group’s falseness allegations and after they learned about the sincerity of Jaysh Al Islam.

IS terror group has put a 25 thousand dollars bounty on Diab’s head, as he was prominent leader of the group and leaving it forms some kind of danger on the group because he knows some of its secrets.

Ghouta district in Damascus has been witnessing continuous battles between the so-called IS and Jaysh Al Islam, leaving hundreds dead on both sides over a year ago, as the two sides have posted videos showing the execution of prisoners of both groups.
