ibInternational envoy to Syria, al-Akhdar Ibrahimi stressed Thursday that "Geneva Agreement includes enough ideas to resolve the crisis in Syria during the coming months and there is no need to add any new points on it."

"No one supports actions of the extremist groups in Syria," Ibrahimi said, and noted "violence and the flow of arms into the Syrian territories must be stopped."

In parallel, Ibrahimi warned that "the situation in Syria poses a great danger not only on the Syrian people, but also on the neighboring countries and the world," hoping that "all those who have influence would contribute for reaching a solution to the crisis in Syria."
The international envoy further called for "real change in Syria and the installation of a transition government with full powers until elections can be held."

"We need to form a government with all powers... which assumes power during a period of transition. That transition period will end with presidential or parliamentary elections," Ibrahimi reporters.

Meanwhile, he will reportedly fly to Moscow on Saturday to discuss the latest developments made to end the crisis in Syria. It is worth mentioning that Ibrahimi arrived in Syria on Sunday on his third visit to Damascus since he was appointed to his current position in August.
