National Opposition Discusses Coordination ahead of International Conference

The statement highlighted that the friends of Syria know that there are opposition movements which stressed the peaceful solution through dialogue with no preconditions and stressed the necessity of the participation of all sides involved in the crisis.
It added that these opposition movements are ready to attend the international conference.
The statement called on "the regime and the internal opposition to agree on holding a comprehensive national dialogue conference, noting that such step will play a very important role in shaping other contexts for the international conference.
Haidar: Army's Achievements on the Ground Sped Up Calls for Int'l Syria Conference
Chairmanship member of the Popular Front for Change and Libration, Dr. Ali Haidar said that the achievements of the Syrian Arab army on the ground, especially in al-Qseir have sped up calls for the international conference for solving the crisis in Syria ''in a bid to wrench away these achievements''.
In statements to journalists on the sidelines of the national opposition conference in Damascus on Thursday, Haidar said that Washington has spared no effort to pressure Syria through imposing the embargo on the Syrians and providing weapons and financial, political, military and media support to all powers who work against Syria.
Haidar saw that political process in contingent on the situation on the ground, adding that ''all sides involved in the violence on the ground sought to impose a status quo in order to go to the political process.''
Haidar added that any international bid for solving the crisis in Syria has to be aimed at ending violence and lifting the financial and political embargo, and stopping arms supplies ''so as to go to the political process on a solid ground.''
He expressed confidence in the Syrians' ability to emerge from the crisis, adding that the powers hostile to Syria are now confused and seek to come up with a ''state that they claim to be representative of the Syrian people.''
Adel Naesa of the Popular Front for Change and Liberation said that the participants in meeting are opposition groups which are different from other opposition ones as they follow non-violence change means and reject the foreign intervention in Syria , adding that "the change of the regime structure is a firm demand, but peacefully."
The Head of Peaceful Change Movement Fateh Jamous pointed out that his movement attempted to cooperate with opposition forces, including the Coordination Body and the State Building movement , but "we failed" blaming the responsibility of this failure on them, as they "didn't understand the idea of opposition on the basis of comprehensive national crisis."

He added that sitting to the dialogue table is everyone's duty, expressing regret over the stances of certain national powers that reduce the crisis to certain points, pretending to have forgotten that the issue is about charting a roadmap for Syria.
Jamil said that ''the international conference in Geneva will be held thanks to the international balances that will impose the conference on all parties,'' underlining the importance of preparing well for the conference.
For his part, Chairmanship member of the Popular Front for Change and Liberation, Dr. Ali Haidar said that Geneva conference will help in solving the crisis in Syria, indicating that the Syrian people have the exclusive and legitimate right to decide their own future.
Haidar stressed the importance of differentiating between the 'international conference' and Geneva 2 conference', emphasizing the importance of the conference and that it answers the questions of all.
The concluding statement of the conference called on the internal opposition forces for holding a meeting and coordinating for the conference to avoid the negative political possibilities for which the U.S. and its allies inside and outside Syria are working.
The statement stressed that the internal opposition forces are aware that the situation in Syria has reached the state of " comprehensive national crisis intractable for violence" and there is a popular majority which rejected to identify with any side and wants to emerge from the crisis with the least costs.
