shiitnews pressconferance suc Shia Ulema Council has said that terrorists rule everywhere and government seems to have been powerless against the terrorists.

Allama Shabbir Meesmi, Maulana Munawar Naqvi, Maulana Jafar Subhani and other members of the council spoke at a press conference at Karachi Press Club.

They said that three bombs were planted for massacre of Shia Muslims during chehlum procession in Khanpur tehsil of district Rahim Yar Khan. They said that the RPO made incorrect statement that PMT exploded that caused deaths of azadaran-e-Imam Hussain (AS). But, two more bombs were also recovered that means it was a well-planned conspiracy.

They said that it proved the security forces’ incompetence and ineligibility because they had cleared the route. They tried to hide facts for their own face-saving.

They said that Pakistan and Shia Muslims are target of terrorism and it is terrorists versus victims and not the sectarian conflicts. They said Shia and Sunni Muslims are living in peace and this unity would be continued forever.

Government and its relevant authorities and departments must break the terrorist network.  They said that government has failed to provide security to them and they reserve the right to defend them on their own also. They warned that government would be responsible for consequences because it is their failure.

They demanded that independent inquiry of the Khanpur Tragedy should be conducted forthwith and report be made public.

They also demanded that cases against innocent Shia Muslims in Khairpur should be withdrawn without any delay. They said that Friday would be observed a day of countrywide protest.
