Allama Syed Shafqat Hussain Sheerazi, deputy secretary general, has said that registration of FIR of Model Town massacre against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was first victory of the Revolution March.

“After over two months, police registered case on the complaint of aggrieved people, is this rule of law, justice? Nawaz Sharif-Shahbaz Sharif should tell nation should people have to gather outside Parliament House and protest for an FIR,” he asked while speaking at Weekly Training Sitting of the MWM at Wahdat House here on Wednesday.

He asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to tell nation how many more martyrs he needs to allow registration of the FIR of martyrs of red zone on the complaint of aggrieved heirs. He said that the Revolution March’s participants were accompanied by children and women and they had to seek shelter inside Parliament House to avoid the effects of tear gas shelling and firing.

“Had they not resorted to firing and tear gas shelling, not a single person would have entered into lawn of the Parliament. Had people given mandate to Sharif Brothers, then they should have avoided use of force against the peaceful protestors. They were on way to gather outside Prime Minister House and had no intention to storm into any State building,” he said.

Allama Sheerazi further said that those politicians who are now defending system and sanctity of the State and the State buildings should not hoodwink people because all informed Pakistanis knew well that they all came out against Nawaz Sharif in the past due to his wrongdoings.
