Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has denounced the K-Electric, WAPDA and HESCO for power outages that badly affected the azadari programs of Moharram in all over Sindh.

“Prove that you are not an enemy of lovers of Imam Hussain by uninterrupted electric power supply to the azadar of Imam Hussain, otherwise the azadar will begin protest and surround your offices and bungalows,” said Alam Karbalai, Deputy Secretary General, MWM, Sindh chapter.

He said that federal government and Sindh government must take notice of the biased policy of the K-Electric, WAPDA and HESCO. He said that on the one hand, government announced the uninterrupted electric power supply during Moharram programs but these proved empty words because of continued power outages.

Alam Karbalai asked the relevant officials that azadar (mourners) of Imam Hussain (AS) should not be disturbed and their congregations and processions need to be facilitated.
