Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has said that 21st amendment would help eliminate the terrorists but that need intrepidity and boldness on the part of the government.

“We urge the government not be scared of threats and blackmailing from any side and adopt unbiased measures to rid Pakistan of the menace of terrorism,” he said while speaking at a meeting of the MWM’s central cabinet on Tuesday.

He said that 21st amendment vindicated the anti-terrorists stance of Pakistani Shia Muslims. He said that now more than two-third majority of Pakistani Parliament endorsed what the Shia Muslims demanded for years that capital punishment be given to the takfiri terrorists by speedy trial and conviction.

He said that takfiri terrorism poses serous threat to Pakistan because the takfiris consider their opponent Muslims as infidels and believe in their killings. He said that all sorts of terrorism be it is political, separatists or religious/sectarian, should be eliminated.

“Takfiris are the proxies and mercenaries and they massacred thousands of Muslims at the instigation of their foreign masters. Justice should be done to the heirs of martyrs by punishing the takfiri killers,” he said.

He urged all the political leaders to join hands against the terrorists and sink their petty differences. He asked federal interior minister to begin action against those 10% seminaries who, he said, were involved in terrorism.
