Almost all major parties and groups backed the call of the Shia party Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen for a Sindh-wide peaceful commercial strike on Saturday.

Following funeral prayers for some of the victims, various parties including MWM protested against the tragedy at Lakhi Dar Chowk along with the bodies of the deceased.

All markets and shops are shut in Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Larkana, Dadu, Sehwan Sharif, Kotri, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Matli, Tando Bago, Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allah Yar, Sanghar, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Dadu, Khairpur, Thatta, Umer Kot and Hyderabad.
