ISO election for President will be held on June 30

iso logoImamia Students Organization (ISO)’s election to the post of central president will be held on June 30.Central Majlis-e-Umoomi of the ISO that comprises of more than 500 presidents and general secretaries of the ISO units will elect their president.
The decision was made by central nazarat of the ISO. A meeting of the nazarat was held in Lahore. Allama Hasnain

Abbas Gardezi, Allama Mazhar Kazmi, Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Haider Abbas Abedi, Allama Hashim Mousavi, Roy Ali Raza Bhatti, Nasir Abbas Shirazi advocate, Yafis Naveed Hashmi advocate, Professor Nisar Shaikh and Engineer Rozi Ali attended the meeting.

The nazarat pondered upon resignation of Rehman Shah, former ISO president and formally accepted his resignation. Since Majlis-e-Aamila had not endorsed name of vice president, nazarat appointed Roy Ali Raza Bhatti as Coordinator to run ISO affairs. He will also be responsible for holding of the June 30 election.

Another meeting of Majlis-e-Aamila was also held in Lahore. Members of the central cabinet and divisional presidents and general secretaries attended the meeting. They endorsed nazarat’s decision.

Nazarat and Majlis-e-Aamila renewed their pledge of allegiance to Wilayat-e-Faqih. They decided to largely participate in 24th death anniversary of martyr Arif Hussaini on July 1 in Lahore.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri that ISO is a great organization. He said ISO founded many good traditions in the society. He said that ISO remained loyal to Wilayat-e-Faqih. He said that ISO is heir of martyrs blood and MWM and ISO would jointly meet the internal and external challenges.
