Martyrs Committee announces long march from Shikarpur to CM House Karachi

Shikarpur Martyrs Committee has announced Long March to protest against the non-arrest of the takfiri terrorists who planned suicide bombing in Masjid-e-Syed-ush-Shohda/Karbala Moalla Imam Bargah premises during Friday prayers. Martyrs heirs, relatives and their supporters will begin march on Sunday February 15 from Lakhi Dar Shikarpur to CM House in Karachi.

 

Martyrs Committee said that in all 73 people embraced martyrdom due to takfiri suicide bombing but government has not launched crackdown on the banned Deobandi takfiri Jund-ush-Shaitan so far. No high-profile abettor or mastermind of the bombing has yet been arrested.

Allama Maqsood Domki has been made head of the Martyrs Committee and heirs and relatives of the martyrs are part of that Committee. They announced long march from Shikarpur to Chief Minister Sind’s official residence CM House in Karachi on Sunday February 15.

Since Allama Domki is a top official of MWM Balochistan chapter as well, his party MWM also announced support to the Long March. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of the leading Shia party MWM, personally visited Shikarpur and addressed Martyrs Day program where he announced support to the Martyrs Committee’s Long March.

Sindh-based parties and JUIF Sindh’s secretary general also assured their support to the Long March and Martyrs Committee remains in touch with like-minded political parties. Alongside MWM, Shia Ulema Council and students and youth groups namely ISO and Asgharia also announced support to the Long March.
