Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan Army claimed that four terrorists have been taken into custody during the armed forces’ operation in Razmak district of North Waziristan. Operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched in June last year to eliminate the Deobandi takfiri terrorists of Taliban, their affiliates and allies in North Waziristan.

“Two of the terrorists were arrested from compound during the operation while the other two were arrested from a market in Razmak,” state ISPR.

It is relevant to add here that Operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched in June last year to eliminate the Deobandi takfiri terrorists of Taliban, their affiliates and allies in North Waziristan.

The Ministry for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) had accepted that the operation Zarb-e-Azb would be finished by the end of last year and that a ‘Mini Martial Law’ would be endorsed for the financial and socio-economical welfare of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

Moreover, DG ISPR Asim Bajwa had also stated that military had taken control in immeasurable areas in North Waziristan and South Waziristan and that Taliban were bound to the little zone in the Pak-Afghan fringe range.
