for 9 years old and above females and 15 years old males and above.
The Muslims hold fast since the beginning of fajr till the Maghrib. They don’t eat and drink during these timings. Special dishes are prepared for (Iftar) fast and sehri in Pakistan.
Mosques are full of namazis during Ramzan. Sacred nights of Qadr also fall in this month.

Muslims of Pakistan have started observing fast of Ramzan al Mubarak on Saturday. They celebrate the holy month with religious and traditional fervour.
Ramzan is ninth month of Islamic calendar. Observance of fast during this sacred month is obligatory
