Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa’s (K-P) revenue minister’s residence in Dera Ismail Khan came under a hand grenade attack by ASWJ’s Deobandi terrorists on Tuesday, with no injuries or major damages.

It is not known whether the minister, Ali Amin, was at home at the time of the grenade attack. The hand grenade was thrown at his home and landed on the roof, causing no major damage or injuries. Police are currently looking into the matter.

Dera Ismail Khan is situated in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa (KP) province and it makes provincial borders with Punjab with Bhakkar District on the other side. DI Khan is home district of JUIF’s Chief Fazlur Rehman who now heads 20-members Deobandi parties’ alliance that include proscribed terrorist outfit ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba).

ASWJ nourished under the tacit support and patronage of JUI’s Deobandi clerics and now Deobandi terrorists of proscribed ASWJ pose threat to Sunni and Shia Muslim politicians of Bhakkar and Dera Ismail Khan. Some days ago, they ambushed Niwani family’s politician of Bhakkar who hails from the PMLN.
