During a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir in Kuwait yesterday, the premier's Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz reiterated Pakistan’s unequivocal support and strong commitment to the security and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia. Despite the Saudi funded terrorist groups Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and AhleSunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) involvement in the terrorism activities in the country.
The meeting took place on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 42nd Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council meeting of foreign ministers, a statement by the Foreign Office said.
The adviser extended warm congratulations to Jubeir on his appointment as Saudi Arabia's foreign minister and conveyed deep condolences over the loss of lives in the terrorist attack in the country's eastern province but avoiding to name these Saudi takfiris who killed Shia Worshipers in friday prayer at Shia dominated Eastern Province.
While discussing the regional situation and the crisis in Yemen, Aziz reprised Pakistan's support for the protection of the two Holy Mosques, which was occupied by the Wahabi Saudi kingdom from last 100 years with the help of United Kingdom. He briefed Jubeir on Pakistan's efforts to engage regional countries in resolving the Yemen crisis in a peaceful manner.
Aziz also briefed Jubier on the successful outcome of Zarb-e-Azb and the economic turnaround that Pakistan achieved.
Referring to improvement in Pakistan's investment climate, Aziz mentioned the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project which involves a total investment of $46 billion over the next five to seven years.
its pertaining to mention here that the saudi funded terrorists groups Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) , AhleSunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) and seminaries involved in the unrest in Pakistan by killing the Ismaili Shia's in Karachi Safoora Chowrangi, unabated targeted killings of Shia notables in Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar and attacked on armed forces of Pakistan in Peshawar and tribal areas of the country.
Its regrettable that Mr Aziz has not raised his voice over the Saudi's support and funding to these groups which involved in the anti-Pakistan activities in last 4 decades especially after the recent visits of Saudi officials.
