Majlis Wahdate Muslimeen (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir Abbas has rejected the allegations of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) that MWM distorted PPP’s mandate in the general elections for the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Legislative Assembly. PPP has lost its credibility due to the inefficiency of its leadership, he said in a statement issued on Thursday. PPP had deputed incompetent worker like Shahla Raza in GB to head election campaign that caused historical defeat to the country’s former largest party in the election, he said, adding that PPP demeaned the democracy by not accepting its crush in GB, where PPP leadership shared out only dearth and deprivation among the masses. He observed that former PPP CM Medhi Shah did nothing for the development of this region; poor law and order situation linked with his government era.

“The unethical language that Shahla Raza used against senior clerics in her press conference has exposed her as a low-grade politician. She has damaged the political image of her party,” he said.

MWM CONDEMNS MODI FOR HIS STATEMENT AGAINST PAKISTAN

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas has condemned Indian Prime Minister Narindar Modi for his recent provoking remarks against Pakistan and the Muslim World, and said that Pak-China Economic Corridor caused discomforts to Indian extremist government. He said that Pakistan owned nuclear capability that gave this country a unique geopolitical status in this region. Pakistan armed forces are considered one of the best in the world in term of their professional expertise, and they knew how to protect their country and people, he said, adding that the whole nation supported its armed forces.
