Jhang: Punjab Police arrests Senior Shia cleric Maulana Azhar Kazmi

azhar kazmiThe Saudi-Wahabi’s backed Punjab Government has arrested the Senior Shiite Cleric Maulana Syed Azhar Kazmi from Jhang on Tuesday.
According to the Shiite News Correspondent, the Jhang police has detained the Majlis-e-Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM)

Punjab District Jhang Secretary General Maulana Azhar Kazmi from the Darbar Ghor Shah Jhang district without any charges.
Maulana Azhar Kazmi had planned a protest rally in Jhang district against the bomb blast on Azadars’ (mourners) in Rawalpindi and Dera Ismail Khan, which claims lives of more than 36 Azadars and terrorists of banned outfits attack on Sargodha City and Layyah Districts processions of Muharram.
The protest call was given by the MWM Central Leader Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffari to condemn the barbaric attacks on the Muharram processions and failure of the government to arrest the terrorists involved in the bomb blasts and attacks on Muharram processions.
The arrest of Maulana Azhar Kazmi spark violence in Jhang city as the thousands of Shiite Muslims including women and children staged the sit-in protest against the illegal arrest of the senior Shiite leader from Jhang. Maulana Azhar Kazmi was the younger brother of Senior Shiite Cleric Maulana Mazhar Kazmi, and also a principal of a local seminary in Jhang.
MWM leaders condemned the arrest of Maulana Azhar Kazmi and demanded of the government to immediately release the Shia leader forthwith  saying that protest against the shia genocide was the democratic right of every Pakistani citizen.
