Maulana Amin Shaheedi condemns killings of Shia Muslims in Karachi

ameen shaeediMajlis-e-Wehdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Central deputy secretary General Maulana Amin Shaheedi on Monday condemned the serial target killing of Shia Muslims in Karachi and demanded of the President Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Chief Justice Iftikkar Mohammad Chaudhry and Army Chief to take immediate

notice of the Shia genocide in Karachi.

He said that more than five Shia Muslims were gunned down by the armed militants of banned terrorists outfits in last 36 hours in Karachi but the government and law enforcement agencies had failed to arrest a single terrorists involved in the shia genocide.

He said that armed militants of American funded outfits killed five Shiite Muslims Azmat Ali (Shah Faisal Colony), Munir Kazmi  (Nazimabad Gol Market), Hussain (Nazimabad Gol Market), Qamar (Nazimabad Gol Market) and Hasnain (Nazimabad Gol Market) in last 36 hours in broad day light.

He demanded of the deployment of Pakistan Army troops in Karachi to hold ruthless operation against the terrorists involved in the killing of innocent people saying that 14 to 16 people were killed in Karachi on daily basis but the government and law enforcement agencies have not interested to provide justice to common people.

He said that the target killing of Shiite Muslims, political and religious workers in Karachi was a well-planned conspiracy of the anti-Pakistan forces to destabilize the country and demanded of the crackdown against the terrorists and banned outfits in Karachi and other parts of the country.
