The murder of dozens of Shias in Karachi and MQM’s leader Hammad Siddiqui has been declared as proclaimed offender in case of firing at Sindh Muhabbat Rally by an anti-terrorism court in Karachi. Hammad Siddiqui is the former head of MQM’s ‘Karachi Tanzeemi committee’. Anti-terrorism court had issued non-baleable warrant of Hammad Siddiqui and six other people after which today, Hammad Siddiqui has been declared as a proclaimed offender. All the culprits were nominated on identification of MQM’s arrested member Aamir (aslo known as Sir Phata). Other criminals who are on the run include Adnan, Naeem, Ikhlas and Shehzad. It should be kept in mind that Awami Tehreek, City alliance, Muslim League (N), and Awami National Party had organized a rally on 22 May 2012 from Liyari’s football ground to Karachi press club when it came under gunmen attack at Napear road and at least 11 people had lost their lives including a woman and a child whereas 30 people got injured. The attackers also burnt 10 cars, 15 motorcycles, 8 shops, 3 houses and many stalls. The rally was organized to protest against the Muhajir province in Sindh and the protestors hold banners against the division of Sindh and MQM.
