Murderers of Punjab’s Home Minister Col. (R) Shuja Khanzada have been identified

CTD and intelligence department, after joint investigations, have identified the killers of Punjab’s home minister Shuja Khanzada. The key suspect of the murder Muhammad Qasim, who belongs to Attock, has been arrested by CTD. According to CTD spokesperson, Qari Sohail group of Tehreek e Taliban is involved in the suicide attack on Shuja Khanzada and Qari Sohail is the mastermind of the attack. It was Qari Sohail who sent the suicide attacker and he also used many people to help the suicide attackers. For the attack, he used Qasim Muawiyah, Amjad, Fayyaz, Sadaqat and Saddam.

According to other sources, the key suspect of the attack Qasim has been sent on 14-day physical remand by the Judicial Magistrate Shafqat Saeed. The key accused made several important revelations in his initial statement and told that Qari Sohail group of Tehreek e Taliban is involved in the attack on Shuja Khanzada. The attack was planned by local commander of Tehreek e Taliban Qari sohail, Saddam, Amjad, Fayyaz, and Zaheer and Saddam, Amjad and Qari Sohail took the suicide attacker to the location.

It has been told in the press release of Counter Terrorism Department that ISI played an important role in identifying the network involved in the attack and in arrest of the key criminal.
