ISO will observe the first decade of Muharram ul Haram as Karbala Shanasi: Ali Mehdi

President of ISO Pakistan Ali Mehdi said “Muharram needs to be protected and it is the foremost responsibility of young generation to spread the message of Karbala of bravery and martyrdom”. He expressed these thoughts while talking to media representatives at the central secretariat. He said “this year, ISO will celebrate the first decade of Muharram with the name of ‘Karbala Shanasi’ and its purpose is to spread the real message of Imam Hussain’s stance against the offenders and make it reach the young generation”.

He further said “Karbala is the constitution of life. Mourning congregations will be arranged all over the country and religious scholars will talk about Karbala Shanasi in divisions. Imamia scouts will be performing duties all over the country, in view of increasing terrorism threat during Muharram ul Haram and will ensure peace. Countrywide arrangements for congregation Zuhar prayer, will also been made on Ashura”.

“Youm e Hussain in all educational institutions of the country will be celebrated with respect and honor, like always, in which religious scholars will address. Muharram ul Haram directs hearts towards righteousness and guidance. Message of Karbala, which is about the preaching of right (amar bil maroof) needs to be spread and the spiritual and practical relationship with Karbala should be strengthen", he added.
