Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr was not a terrorist, executed due to political differences: Zaid Hamid

Shiie News: Pakistan’s renowned defense analyst Zaid Hamid while talking to a private television channel said “Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr did not commit any terrorist act rather had political differences due to which he was executed. If someone calls King an oppressor in Saudi Arabia, the person is executed. Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr was a revolutionary leader and he raised a strong voice against Saudi Kings. Also, there is a difference within House of Saud over how to deal with Shia Muslims and therefore, the former interior minister was ousted from the office because he was dealing softly with the matter. Ayatollah Nimr did not commit any terrorist act rather only differ politically and because of that he was executed”.
