Deobandi group for preaching banned in Pakistan

Shiite News: Government is preparing security plan for educational institutions, after the attack on Bacha Khan University. Punjab government, as a measure to stop the spread of extremism, has issued new orders according to which sermons that are to be delivered in mosques located in vicinity of educational institutes should be approved from administration. University administration should be entitled to inform about those faculty members, having sympathy for terrorist forces, to security agencies and the group for preaching is banned from entering and staying in universities.

According to the advisory, Punjab Information Technology Board and Home Department will take action against those spreading sectarianism in coordination with universities’ administration. Those who are not students of university would not be allowed to stay in hostels. Serious measures have been ordered to be taken in order to stop the spread of weapons and drugs. The administration is also required to make an intelligence system.

Security agencies will maintain check and balance in order to ensure the implementation of all measures and every educational institute is obliged to overcome errors identified by the security agencies.
