Shia Muslims rally demand release of detained innocent youths

apsacShia Muslims staged a rally in Karachi on Monday to protest against the illegal detention of innocent Shia youths by the law enforcement agencies.

Hundreds of people attended the rally that began from Numaish Chowrangi and culminated at Karachi

Press Club.

Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, head of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee, led the rally. The protestors were chanting slogans against the corrupt officials of the police and intelligence agencies and the government.

They were of the views that innocent Shia youths were kidnapped by the cops without any warrant and without any information to the relatives of the youths. They said that the relatives and families of the detained youths suffer from immense mental torture caused to them by such malpractice of the cops of the police and intelligence agencies.

Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain condemned the illegal detention and demand immediate release of the innocent Shia youths. He said that case of abduction were also registered for the youths because the corrupt officials are not confirming the detention therefore it is habeas carpus.
