raja nasirThe representatives of more than 80 districts of five provinces of Pakistan and of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and members of the Shura Aali will elect secretary general (head) of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen on Sunday.

A 2-days convention of the MWM delegates is being held in Islamabad on Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7.

The said delegates from Sindh, Punjab, Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir began reaching Islamabad to vote for new secretary general of the MWM for another 3-years term.

Three years ago, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari was elected for the top slot of the MWM. Sources in the MWM have disclosed that Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari emerged as a sole central leader of Shia Muslims. Under his dynamic leadership, Shia Muslims expressed their mass strength in Pakistan and for the first time, Shia party fielded a blind religious scholar and women for general seats to the legislatures.

So, chances of reelection of Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari are high and brighter. The voters will decide on Sunday who is to head the MWM.
