Head of Sipah e Muhammad Ghulam Raza Naqvi passes away in Iran

Shiite News: Head of banned Sipah e Muhammad Allama Ghulam Raza Naqvi has passed away in Iran.

According to information, Ghulam Raza Naqvi was ill since some time due to which he passed away in Iran, earlier today. He had gone to Iran for Ziyarat and had planned to stay there where he passed away.

Alama Ghulam Raza Naqvi had spent 18 years in jail on allegations of killing leaders of opponent organizations however, no allegation was proved and he could not be sentenced due to unavailability of proofs.

In an interview after his release he said “our religion teaches us peace and brotherhood but when a banned organization had started killing Shia Muslims with proper planning and started attacking our azadari then we had to form Sipah e Muhammad in defend ourselves”.
