Gen Sharif discusses RAW’s involvement in Pakistan with Rouhani

Shiite News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani paid rich tributes to the phenomenal achievements of the Pakistan Army in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Rouhani – who is on his first visit to Pakistan as a president - met Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday to discuss matters of importance, the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

“Matters of regional security, Pakistan-Iran relations, border security and connectivity were discussed during the meeting,” ISPR director general Asim Bajwa said. While the Iranian president paid rich tributes to professionalism of Pakistan Army and its phenomenal achievements in Operation Zarb-e-Azb, General Raheel highlighted the challenges being faced by Pakistan.

The army chief “also discussed the involvement of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in Pakistan’s internal affairs especially in Baluchistan,” Bajwa tweeted.

If arrested Indian agent coming through Iran then how come someone can say Iran is involved.

Everyone from media to top level is investigating from Iranian guests about RAW's agent. Iranian President himself said Pakistan's safety is our own safety. But instead of meetings on bilateral issues Pakistan created RAW's issue.

Pakistan can raise this issue after the departure of Iranian guests but now Pak is best friend of Saudi Arab.

Its the reason i frequently say this Iranian govt is incompetent.
