Allama Abid Hussaini says single Shia candidate contest election from each constituency

abid hussainiFormer Senator and a senior religious scholar Allama Abid Hussain al Hussaini has opposed the boycott of Election by any Shia party.
He said in an interview that Shia Ulema Council and Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen have right to filed

candidates for all constituencies on their own but these parties should not engage into tussle with each other.

“SUC and MWM should not field candidates against each others from any constituency because it will benefit the common enemies,” he said.

Allama Abid Hussaini said that the these parties should withdraw candidates of each other keeping on the basis of vote bank of their parties in the particular constituencies.

He advised that the electoral contests should help bring Shia Muslims closer to one another. He said that electoral frays should not cause straining intra-Shia relations. He said that he and his group don’t participate in the election from Parachinar because enemies have polluted the conditions fanning ethnic bias in the area.

However, he said, due to unity for the first time their candidate won election in 2002 Elections.
