Hunger Strike Camp will Continue No Matter What

Majlis Wahdat ul Mulsimeen (MWM) Pakistan deputy secretary general Allama Ahmed Iqbal has announced that the hunger strike camp will continue after news circulated that their leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri is unwell.

Allama Ahmed Iqbal said that none can leave MWM leader Allama Nasir's strike amidst for it is par Islamic ideology, principally correct, constitutional and for the cause of shiite nation.

"In the absence of my leader, due to ailment, my cabinet and I shall remain in the camp", he said.

He added that their demands are simple "Rid Pakistan of Terrorism", they sit there till the said is attained.

He feared for the country's stability and sovereignty should these demands were not addressed, as militancy remains the core problem of the state.

He further commented on the PPC (Protecting Pakistan Conference) being held on august 7 at Islamabad, urging other parties to hold hands in unison for the betterment of Pakistan. In order to defeat ulterior motives of the enemy all political / religious parties have to play their part, he suggested.

He informed media that though MWM Supremo Allama Nasir stands frail and weak due his two and half month long hunger strike, he is unwilling to forgo his camp. He will only walk off once all demands are met, he said.
