Four LeJ Hardcore Militants Arrested, Involved in Shuja Khanzada's Murder

SIU, CPL and Intelligence agencies in a joint operation apprehended four hardcore militants of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) al-Alami from Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.

SSP Farooq Awan, while addressing media, identified the names of militants as Azhar Hussain, Abdul Adeel, Abu Sufiyan and Syed Alam. He added that Abu Sufiyan, the leader of the outfit, is involved in security officials' target killing and aide to the assassination of former Interior Minister Punjab Shuja Khanzada. The captives are allegedly involved in Murder, Extortion, Banditry and Kidnapping, with a recent plan for a high profile abduction and terrorism.

They confessed of impersonating police officer, wearing police uniform and using a police mobile van to carry out their heinous crimes.
