At least 7 takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were arrested in an intelligence-based raid conducted near Pakistani border with Afghanistan on Thursday night.

They were hiding in a compound near Chaghi. Arms and ammunitions were also seized from their possession.  They had recently crossed border from Afghanistan and entered into Pakistan with intention to carry out terrorist attacks in Balochistan province.

Lashkar-e-Jhangvi is named after Haq Nawaz Jhangvi, a fanatic Deobandi cleric who embraced Saudi Wahhabism that promotes takfiri ideology that means to declare Muslims as infidels deserving death and persecution. Jhangvi was killed for his violent ideology that was illegal and immoral according to Islamic and Pakistani laws. The LeJ was a cover organisation for Jhanfvi's outfit Anjuman Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASS) that was banned by the state authorities.

However, the takfiri outfit renamed itself many a times and now its name is Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat (ASWJ)  that too has been proscribed but it is mockery of law that ASWJ freely operate in all over Pakistan and its ringleader Ahmed Ludhianvi freely make hate-speeches at public rallies. Lashkar-e-Jhangvi now works under ASWJ that is their mother organisation.
