Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, spend Wednesday night at Taftan border to express solidarity of those Pakistani Zaireen (pilgrims) who suffer from many problems due to government and security forces’ unfair policies aimed at creating hurdles in their pilgrimage to holy shrines in Iran.

Allama Jafari remained with the Zaireen who are nowadays stuck at Pakistan-Iran border near Taftan. He also met the officials of immigration and FIA to express his reservations on the unjustifiable hurdles being laid in the smooth travelling of Zaireen (pilgrims) to Iran via Taftan border. He urged them to shoulder their legal obligation by allowing the visa holder Zaireen to cross the border.
Agha Syed Mohammad Raza, a Shia member of Balochistan legislature belonging to the MWM also accompanying him.
MWM’s secretary general said he wanted to personally observe what was happening to Zaireen at Taftan border hence he visited there despite no security clearance from the security authorities.
He expressed concern that Zaireen were being stopped at the borders and were forced to stay there at their own expenses and no facility was being granted to them. The corrupt officials and local thugs seem to have reached an agreement to plunder Zaireen because they have to pay rent at hotels and also pay for food, water and other facilities.
