Pir Syed Masoom Hussain Shah Naqvi, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP-Niazi), has lashed out at the PMLN government at the Centre and in Punjab province saying that Sharif government had double standards on the issue of terrorism.

“I welcome Punjab government’s pledge at the apex committee meeting for crackdown on the terrorists but claims to peace and relations with banned outfits cannot go together,” he said.
Sunni party leader said that federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan himself had been meeting with the ringleaders of banned sectarian terrorist outfits and when a judicial commission headed by a Supreme Court judge objected to that, the minister was irked and he criticized the judge.
He said that success of a fourth scheduler of banned sectarian terror outfit in Jhang by-election proved that government covertly backed him.
Pir Masoom Shah urged Muslims to establish unity among themselves focusing on their common point that is adoration for Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle of God.
