Shia Ulema’s to be party in Supreme Court hearing on Karachi situation

9-5-2011 85781 lKarachi: Shia Ulema Council (SUC) Sindh have submitted an application in Supreme Court of Pakistan Karachi registry for making Shia Ulema Council a party a party in the Supreme Court suo-moto case hearings on Karachi law and order situation. According to the Shiite News Correspondent, The Delegation of Shia Ulema Council (Sindh) led by Allama Jafar  Subhani, alongwith Allama Nazir Abbas, Allam Abbas Turabi

and others have submitted an application in the Supreme Court Karachi registry in which they demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan for making a party in suo-moto case on Karachi target killing situation and genocide of Shiite Muslims, Ashura and Arbaeen Blast and other incidents.

The Shia clerics in the petition said that the government has failed to maintain the law and order situation in Karachi and to protect the life of common people especially the Shia Muslims.

The shia Ulema Coucil Secretary General Maulana Nazir Abbas said that the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has accepted their request to allow them to be a party in ongoing hearing of Supreme Court about Karachi situation and said that he will present before the Chief Justice on Thursday.

.In Pakistan 25% population of the country belongs from Shiite Muslims sects are facing target killing since 1980s, thousands of people have been killed in sectarian-related incidents by Nasabi-Wahabi terrorists patronage by some of the institutions of the government.
