rajanasir6Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has vowed that Sunni and Shia Muslims will hold joint programs of Eid Milad ul Nabi (PBUH) and anniversary of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS) to highlight the fact that only a takfiri group is the enemy of both Sunnis and Shiites.

“Sunni and Shia Muslims will isolate the Yazidi takfiri terrorists who attack both Sunni and Shiites alike due to their ideology of hate and fanaticism,” said Allama Jafari addressing thousands of the mourners who gathered to attend namaz-e-janaza of martyr Allama Deedar Ali Jalbani and his martyr guard.

The namaz-e-janaza was itself a show of Sunni-Shia unity because many Sunni scholars such as Allama Aqeel Anjum Qadri also offered the funeral prayer. The participants were raising the slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS). Women and children were also there to express the solidarity with the martyrs and their families.

The MWM’s head said that the best way to isolate and weaken the said terrorists and fanatics is more mammoth joint rallies and congregations of Shiites and Sunnis on Chehlum and Milad ul Nabi (PBUH). He urged all Shiites and Sunnis to come out of their houses and join the joint congregations and rallies.

“Terrorism poses serious threat to the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan. Allama Jalbani was neither first victim nor the last but more than 50,000 civilians and around 70,000 security personnel have been massacred by the ferocious terrorists,” he said.

Allama Jafari said that religious seminaries that had invented, educated and trained these takfiris should be banned. He demanded that stern action be taken against all those seminaries who advocate terrorism against Pakistani civilians.

Allama Aqeel Anjum Qadri of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan also spoke to the mourners. He said that there were two sorts of terrorists and both are U.S. agents. He said that one group of U.S. agents, are bearded, and the other one served U.S. interests without having a bear on their face.

“There is no squabbling between Shiites and Sunnis and they live together in peace and the world bear witness to this incontrovertible fact that we remain united,” he asserted.

Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi, deputy secretary general and spokesman of the MWM, said, that Shiites are also grieved over those other 12 people who were slain on Tuesday.

“We detest terrorism and terrorists. These mourners who gather here are also grieved on the loss of lives of other 12 victims of terrorism,” he said.

He demanded that terrorists need to be eliminated through targeted military operation. He said that the PMLN-led government has failed to deliver on counterterrorism policy.

“Time runs out but PMLN government has no plan how to deal with the terrorists who publicly announced their plan to continue to hit Pakistan even after the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan,” he said.
