TTP Mohmand chapter claims responsibility for killing 23 FC men

UmarKhalidKhurasaniThe Mohmand Agency chapter of the notorious terrorist group outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for killing 23 cops of the FC who were taken cap//tive earlier.

Ringleader Umar Khorasani of the TTP Mohmand Agency said in a statement released late Sunday night that the 23

FC men had been kidnapped along with seven other officials from the Shongrai check post on June 14, 2010. He said the group killed the 23 soldiers to avenge the “killing of Taliban prisoners in the government’s custody”.


“We had urged the government to stop the killings of our comrades… [But] it has continued to do so against the backdrop of peace talks,” Khorasani claimed.


Pakistani nation has expressed surprise and disappointment over the government’s inaction against the terrorists and they condemned the policy of talks with the TTP terrorists.
